What is U.S. Masters Swimming?
U.S. Masters Swimming (USMS) is a non-profit member association comprised of 52 Local Masters Swim Committees (LMSC) that serve more than 700 member clubs. USMS clubs and its network of coaches and instructors serve more than 50,000 individual members. Together we promote the benefits of adult wellness, health, fitness, and competition through aquatics.
Who can participate?
USMS invites adults age 18 and over dedicated to improving their fitness, wellness, and health through swimming (fitness, tri-athlete, competitive, and non-competitive).
What activities does USMS offer its members?
- Structured workouts, with a coach on-deck
- Opportunities to compete (pool and open-water), which allow members to measure their individual progress at local, state, national, and international levels
- Stroke and technique clinics, workshops, and instruction
- Social Functions
